A specialist in process, a generalist in domain.
My specialty is organizing groups toward ends they couldn't achieve alone — through work parties, co-op structures, and other facilitation. My schooling is in the interdisciplinary social sciences: a B.A. in Economics from Reed College, with a focus on Economic Sociology and Anthropology. During my studies I looked closely at emerging digital systems — the participation incentives of Wikipedia, the economic models of Facebook and Google. The co-op, in particular, intrigued me: a business structure with incentives I find worth studying — and building.
Since graduating, I've worked with decentralized consulting firms, regenerative DAOs, and childcare cooperatives. As a true generalist, I've tackled everything from facilitating house-building work parties to writing solo deep-research reports. By the luck of the draw, I've also worked with AI since 2019 — working with early ML systems as an intern at Credit Suisse Labs, and writing poetry with an early GPT model at Handshake.fyi. I see AI as the newest tool in our ever-growing toolbox: an exoskeleton for the mind.
Now I run a family design studio with my husband, Calvin — Jubilee Studio. I'm currently working with The Fold, a third place, to design and pilot an events-based, member-run cooperative.

Facilitation
Meetings, retreats, and work parties that actually move. I design the container, hold the room, and make sure the group leaves with decisions rather than notes.

Membership models, governance, and the unglamorous operating documents that let a co-op outlive its founders — built for third places, childcare co-ops, and small studios.

Research & writing
Deep-research reports, strategy memos, and plain-language explainers. Including the AI-assisted kind, done carefully enough that you can check every source.

Systems that let an organization remember what it already decided — notes, wikis, and AI-native tooling that keep working after whoever set them up moves on.
Now
What I'm working on.
Most of my week goes to The Fold — a community workspace, café, and gallery in San Francisco's Mission District — where I'm designing and piloting an events-based, member-run cooperative. That means membership tiers, governance that members can actually operate, and a live pilot: real events, run by members, with the structure tested against what happens rather than what was planned.
The rest goes to Jubilee Studio, the family practice I run with Calvin, where the throughline is cooperative economics and community infrastructure — and to a standing interest in place-based currencies, time banks, and community land trusts.
